Unlocking Purpose in Parenting
When I became a mother, I was also a corporate employee. I felt the tides of my heart shift. Over the years, my family grew, my corporate career took flight, and my children became my anchor. Sure, I was out in the world exploring corporate life, and it wasn't until my forties that I finally had the time, space, and energy to take my own compass in hand and unlock my deeper purpose: to create a world where families thrive, emotions are honored, and financial freedom flows without sacrificing what matters most.
Today, as a certified Youth Mental Health First Aider, a love & authenticity coach, and a Certified WIDP Professional, I’ve seen firsthand how emotional learning tools can bridge the gaps left by worldly contracts and agreements that individuals fail to fully understand. These gaps ripple through generations, leaving kids and parents struggling to navigate life’s waves. That’s why my daughter and I founded Maiden Explorations—a mother-daughter mission to restore family harmony, empower parents with emotional learning tools, and provide gig economy coaching to challenge the traditional business model with one that truly puts families first.
One Simple Truth
Families are the heartbeat of our communities, yet too many parents feel overwhelmed, juggling work, finances, and their children’s well-being. I have learned the long-term impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)—from stress to disconnection—and seen parents yearning for emotional learning tools to help them create a path toward family harmony, enabling their children to grow into resilient, emotionally balanced individuals. At the same time, I noticed the gig economy, led by giants like Uber, offering flexible income through gig economy coaching but often at the sacrifice of family time, emotional connection, and long-term stability.
I Dared Ask a New set of Questions
What if I could create a gig economy that fuels family life instead of draining it? What if parents could earn money while utilizing emotional learning tools to nurture their kids’ emotional intelligence and build stronger communities? That’s when Maiden Explorations set sail, with a mission to empower couples, mothers, and families through gig economy coaching, showing them how to align their hearts with their work. I created a sustainable business model that harmonizes the individual, the couple, and the community for generations to come, fostering family harmony.
